Top 32 pads not lighting up - are they dead?

Exactly what the title says.

Had my Push 3 (not standalone) sitting in a dust cover for a few months. Used it for maybe 10 hours total. Plugged it back in last night, worked great. This morning, the top 32 pads won't light up at all.

They still send MIDI and appear to work normally, but they don't light up under any circumstance.

Tried changing the lighting settings, new USB cables, rebooting everything multiple times. No dice. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible this is a setting in Live, or am I screwed? Any input appreciated.

I also have similar problem, I have already contacted support and wait for response hopefully on Monday? due to other issues but this one now cropped up. It is amazing that in a potentially 2000$ device there is such lack of quality. https://imgur.com/a/lY64djE

For me constant resets and usb reconnecting temporarily fix it. I would perhaps return it and try another one but I have bad conversion rate for foreign currency deal with my bank and wouldn't get full money back so I sit tight until that support response at least.

I also submitted a request. Sorry to hear you're having the same problem. Here's what mine looks like...the LED next to the pitch bend strip also cuts out where the dead pads begin.
