Bar sync'd sampling needed (auto punch in/out)

As it stands we initiate recording by choosing (pressing) the pad to which we want to record. Then it seems there's some auto detect transient going on that assumes the first transient is the beginning of your sample. If your sample has some dead air at the beginning then you need to roll back the sample start parameter and align your sample manually.
What we need is some form of auto punch in to begin sampling at the start of a bar, that's assuming whatever we're recording is in sync/tempo with our session. Furthermore there needs to be some ability to set sample start to bar division so we can easily chop to e.g. the start of another bar or a different beat.
I've got by this evening doing things manually but having auto punch in & out would open up the Move to be used more like a live looper.
