Unable to open Beta 5 Live Set in 4.1.2

Yeah I know.

I have this song I recorded entirely at work, and I brought the Beta to work to mess with it. Anyhow, I really want to play with this song again but I get the token "you messed with this set with another version of Live" error dialog box.

I right clicked on the file and changed the property of the file to open it with Live 4.1.2 but I still get the error message.

What does one do :?:

P.S. I use a MusicXPC at work running XP Home.

Buy Live 5. Open it that way.

Only option, I'm afraid.

FWIW, 99% of the software out there is not "forward compatible" like that. Can't go opening Cubase 3 docs in 1.5. Etc...

There's no retro-compatibility, i'm afraid!

The cash machine is sorta empty right now, but this is one of the store's machines. Gotta wait for the M-Audio rep to stop by and juice up the compute with 5.

And that could take forever! [ hint, hint KG  ]

Oh well, until then I have the super handy WMAs I rendered.

Open your LiveSet with Live 5 Demo and re-record internally each track with your favorite audio editor.
