Drum Rack drums clicking and harsh?

Hey everyone,

I have recently switched from FL Studio and have really noticed a difference in sound with MIDI drums.

I watched this video and it somewhat corrected the drums,

but it is especially noticeable with Hi-Hat rolls, they seem so harsh for some reason. I have tried using the ADSR – maybe using Sampler for drums instead of Simpler would help?

I've seen many other people have this issue especially when using fast hi-hat or 808 rolls, its obvious.

I think its to do with a Zero-Crossing point?

Can someone please tell me how to make it default that it never clicks again?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Even when using the 'Best Interpolation' setting in Sampler, pitched-down samples are still "crunchy" when compared to audio clips in HiQ mode at the same pitch. Add a hihat to Sampler (Best setting) and to an audio clip (HiQ enabled) and play at -30st. Sampler is still gritty, audio clip is not.

Why is this though, and how can I fix this? All I want to do is use MIDI drums in highest quality possible.

Do you know how to fix this, so MIDI sounds as clear as Audio? Would really appreciate any help.
