Hello everyone, I'm new to Live and I was wondering if it is possible to record a live instrument, let's just say, an electric guitar and create a loop with it., I'd like to know how to do this.

Yeah...its very possible. Just record your guitar bit and open the track and set the sound to loop, set your start and end points and you'll be good to go.

Barr, if you follow the tutorial on Ableton itself for recordng something with a microphone that helps. You'll need to either plug your electric guitar straight into your soundcard, or play your instrument into a microphone plugged into your soundcard.
