AmpliTube 5 Chain / signal flow options

I use Amplitude 5 for all guitar tracking and production but I am a little confused to which chain options to use in a mix. Which ‘Chain’ signal flow is best to select when mixing different guitar tracks within a song; Single path, 2-ways splitter or Parallel (effectively stereo)?
