hello. I often want to record a midi track and then forget about it while I cook up new ideas, but the midi overdub being enabled messes up my workflow here.

How do i use a fixed length reocrding but then have the clip just enter "play mode" afterwards?

Did you ever figure this out? It seems like a basic function that should be included by default. I've been trying all day to solve it.
