Push 3 S w/ Novation XL - Midi Mapping Issues

Hello,
My midi mapping on my computer is working when connected to the Novation XL, but when I move the session and controller to Push, I only get the "factory" settings from controller and none of the midi mapping I did is set up. I know the session is new because other changes like new vsts etc are in the session.
