I had bought Abelton live 10 (Intro) when that was avalible, now it's Abelton 12. I'm planing to invest in the standard edition and want to know if it's one time buy or some subcribtion deal. I tried to search for this info and never got a straight answer. I would really appreciate some insight on this.

One time purchase, Ableton doesn’t do subscriptions.

That would be on my wish list also. Would love to upgrade to Live Suite. Just can't afford it. I believe there are lots of people in my position also.

I recently noticed there's a rent-to-own option for edu licenses. Would be good if this was extended to regular licenses too (pay monthly instalments until the full amount is paid off, then you own it).
