Hey all, I'm wondering if I can get some help with my setup, because I'm really confused.
The problem is: Ableton Push is receiving a doubled output from my 1010 bluebox output, regardless of whether I am sending a mono or stereo output from the bluebox
Connection 1 - TS Left and TS Right using a Y cable: Output from Korg MultiPoly Left and Right Outputs; with other end of Y-Cable being TRS going into 1010 Bluebox Input 1.
Note for above: I am seeing the channel separation of left and right in the bluebox, and if I DI output from the bluebox to speakers, I am getting the left and right channel separation
Connection 2 - TRS from 1010 Bluebox Output 1, to TRS into Push 3 Line In 1.
Connection 3 - TRS from Push 3 Left channel into Left Studio Monitor; TRS from Push 3 Right channel into Right Studio Monitor; and TRS Output from Push 3 Headphone out, into headset
Here is what happens:
- When I am outputting Stereo Left and Right from the Bluebox to Ableton Push 3, I am getting Left and Right Output from the bluebox summed into the left channel of Push 3's input 1; and then again summed into the right channel of Push 3's input 1. However, this in turn is canceling out each channel, and I hear nothing from the speakers.
- If I pan all the way to the left on my bluebox, my bluebox main output meter correctly shows only the left output being sent; however, Push 3 still doubles up the output into the left and right channels; but this time I can hear it, because the two channels don't cancel each other out. The exact same behaviour occurs if I pan all the way to the right on the bluebox.
- If I am outputting only the Left or the Right channel from my Bluebox (by disabling the other channel entirely); I get exactly the same behaviour: with No panning, I get no output from the speakers, but Push 3 is receiving doubled up input from the Bluebox. If I pan bluebox all the way to the left or right), I hear Audio, but I hear it in both channels of Push 3.
- The exact same behaviour is exhibited with the headphones. However, if I connect the headphones to my Bluebox, I hear the correct output (Left channel, right channel are separated, and panning/muting affects the correct channel accordingly)

I think the issue might be the cables I'm using, but I don't have enough cables to test this properly at the moment, so I'm jumping on here to see if there's some setting I might have overlooked in push 3 that is duplicating/inverting my bluebox's output to Push incorrectly.
Thanks (and apologies for the long winded description)
