Help wanted - efficient workflow - cutting long recordings

Hello,
For my kickdrums, i tend to make a long long recording of kicks. in session view it is as followed :
kick 1 on Beat 1
Kick 2 on Beat 9 (with fX 1 on it)
Kick 3 on Beat 17 (with FX 2)
& so forward
I do this to create a lot of different kicks from the same root (Kick1) on 1 stem/channel (for ex. 14 minutes of X kicks, a new one every 8 beats)
This produces a long long recording of kicks that i then slice manually & consolidate each & every cut, so i have a sample of 1 beat of every kick
Is there a more effecient way to extract the kick sample that is generated every 8 beats?
