Hello all
I wonder if a browser option to for search for the elements that are currently used in sets could ever be a reality.
It's an enormous ask I suppose, because potentially such a search could be massively comprehensive -- returning audio clips, instruments, track names (...almost too much for a search to handle, or to organize the results display in any elegant way?)
As an example:
I have the sound of a cardboard box. I use this sound in a few different ways in a few different sets (it's an audio clip, it's in a drum rack, and so forth).
But its various iterations always includes the word "box" -- either in the track name, the chain, the instrument... somewhere, it says "box."
This proposed element search on "box" would return the name of the sets that have a matching element (partial or full match); what that element is and its type.
I'm throwing this idea out to you all to see if anyone responds positively. Myself -- I want to make notes associating the different sets I have that share similar elements -- so that I don't (or perhaps intentionally do!) include those sets together in the same performance.
As in: "Oh. That set has "box." Let me not include another set in this show that also has that "box" thing, unless I think it's different enough to get away with.
Or, perhaps -- "I KNOW I used that "box" sound... somewhere, that set was really cool. Which one was it?"
Thanks for reading!

A further thought -- based on problems I'm now experiencing which I believe may be related to "Analysis Bloat" and other mysterious sources somewhere within Live's exponentially-expanding database workload -- is... be careful what you wish for!
