Ableton Forum

For about a month now, every time I open an Ableton project, whether it's new or already existing, Ableton scans my entire sample library (250k files). I don't understand where the issue is coming from.

I turned off the extra files that Ableton creates, and I haven’t changed my settings in a long time. My library is located on an external hard drive.

Any ideas and help would really be appreciated.
