Can anyone tell me if Live (12x) offers the possibility to put different FX chains to certain clips in the same track? I know this from Cubase and - even better - from Samplitude (Object Editor)

Nope...
but you can use racks chains and automate the chain selection within each clip to do this.
Or automate the devices' on/off switch for each clip.
