Best way to monitor ableton live over zoom/ms teams/google meet

Hello all, once a week I give a music production lesson over Google meet to a student using Ableton Live. she is on a PC, I'm on a Mac.
Despite many efforts and trying different video call systems - zoom / ms teams / google meet - we have not yet found an adequate way to transmit the audio from Ableton to my computer.
I have run several tests using two of my Apple computers and I also cannot find a way to do it.
eg on zoom - share screen and audio from host computer. disable echo compensation. enable original soound for musicians. set Ableton audio output driver to 'Zoom'. Playback ableton project.
On the other receiving computer, no audio is received from the host computer's Ableton.
eg on MS teams. share screen, share audio. set ableton output driver to 'Teams'. again On the other receiving computer, no audio is received from the host computer's ableton.
I've tried all combinations of the system audio too. this is never picked up.
I have also tried using 'blackhole' as an audio loopback device which should send the ableton master output going to the system audio device through to zoom / teams / google meet. Again no audio is picked up.
I'm fresh out of ideas. Does anyone have a way of getting this to work, or use another app for the video call?
thanks
