Push 3 touch strip issue (jump skip)

Hello.
I finally got my Push 3 controller couple of days ago and noticed that touch strip jump skips at certain point (one dot below center). I sent question to Ableton support, but they are slow as usual...
Anyone stumbled upon this? Is this a defect (so I should replace Push) or a software glitch?
Problem is that package came a bit beaten (UPS and their third party couriers are worthless), so I feel this might be connected, though inside of the package Push was fine.
