Using LPK25 mk2 keyboard

I'm new to Live. Using Akai LPK25 mk2 and Mac. I can hear the keyboard when I load the Demo Set, but when I try to play in a New Live Set, I can't hear the key board. How do hear and record what I play on the keyboard?

When you create a new Live Set, the MIDI tracks are unpopulated with instruments. Drag an instrument from the browser onto a MIDI track and arm it for recording or drag it into the Session window and a new track will be created and armed for recording.
The default MIDI input of new tracks is set to All Ins on All channels and monitoring set to Auto. The LPK should be able to play the instrument on that track.
