Roland TR-8S as MIDI Controller in Ableton Live 12 ā Issue with MIDI Channel 16

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to use my Roland TR-8S as a MIDI controller in Ableton Live 12 Suite, but Iām running into an issue:
When mapping individual elements (e.g., knobs or pads), the TR-8S sends MIDI notes on Channel 16.
I found out that Channel 16 is used to send pattern information.
Unfortunately, I can't disable this behavior, only change the MIDI channels between 1 and 16.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround to use the TR-8S as a controller without interference from the pattern data?
Would it be possible to filter or reroute the MIDI output in Ableton?
Thanks for any help!
