Live 11 recognizes push 3, Live 12 doesn't

Hi,
I have 2 computers, one old with Live 11 which I didn't upgrade to 12 yet, and one with Live 12 at latest version.
When I connect push 3 via USB in 12:
- In push 3 it reads "connect push to a computer and open live to make music"
- it plays midi
- doesn't connect properly
In Live 11 old pc:
- works just fine
- push 3 display shows the selected track instruments and plugins etc
Anyone else with this issue? I've seen variations of this in the forum, but not this one and no other solution yet worked...
