Stepwise note input

Hello,

I want to "dictate" a series of notes via midi keyboard to a clip like in a notation software. Is there another way to do this besides the live record function? More of a step sequencer input approach.

Enable the note editor preview. Then you can input notes with a midi keyboard and advance steps with keyboard arrows.
