SQ Sequencer Not Respecting Scale

Hi,

When using SQ sequencer, it doesn't always respect the scale function. For example, I have the global scale set to E Minor. Also select the scale function in sequencer(which it reads E minor). Having a pitch value of 9 will trigger C# and a pitch value of 4 will trigger G#. Which those are the right values from a semitone perspective but aren't in the key. Generally, I find it gets "confused" on what scale you are in. This happens if I have a midi clip with E (the root note) or no midi clip. Point being I am not inputting any values outside of the scale from a midi perspective. Anyone run into this or have any pointers as to what I may be missing here?

Thanks

You're correct - the root isn't quantised to scale so far. It might be a wish but you could simply use a Pitch device in scale mode in front of it if you want that behaviour.
