Distortion or Overdrive?

Hi, I need help trying to figure out what makes this overdrive's clip different than the rest. It sounds like a high quality drive and its not super harsh. It's a distorted bass I believe but when I use distortion it sounds "untamed". If anyone can help figure out whether it's compression or limiting etc, I will cash app you . Thank you!!
