how many machines can ableton be installed on?

just would like to know as i have 2 macs and a pc, i use 1 mac in the studio 1 on the road and occasionally use a laptop.
It is normally allowed to install Live on two machines, but if you write about your requierement to ableton, they may (or may not) allow you to install on one more machine. I've never come accross this, but I know people are quite helpfull there.
