Can CNTRL-CLICK for Multi-Channel Record be Defeated?

Hello

I'm looking for a way to avoid the need to use CNTRL-CLICK to record-arm multiple tracks in one of my sets.

Generally I don't mind the extra safety measure, since I'm as likely as anyone to appreciate the pain it can save me on those occasional, unfortunate occasions that we would all rather not talk about.

But I have discovered that one of my performance-focused sets requires that I grow a third hand in order to hold the control key, and hit the record button, AND keep doing what I'm already doing during the performance in order to be able to use a keyboard controller to "performance-play" those tracks (although this system might just making an unsung contribution in the name of keeping my performances from becoming too dense! 8) )

The "CNTRL" rec-arm protection doesn't seem to be a optional preference so far as I can determine, it looks like that's "just the way it is." But am I wrong about that? And, if not, SHOULD it be an optional preference?

Just turn off exclusive arm in the preferences.

...done!

Thank you very much -- I was staring at the Record Pref's and just not recognizing that the option I was looking for was described in a fashion I wasn't seeing.

I had of course tried the manual but I probably also did not know how to search it in a way that returned the desired result.

Much appreciated!
