Disappearing plugins and scan crashes

I’ve been dealing with a very odd issue where random plugins will crash during scan and disappear. I opened a support ticket over a month ago and am getting nowhere. I’ve gone through uninstalling and reinstalling plugins, working with the plugin vendors as well.
Also deep rescans, and own my own research I’ve deleted database several times. Even deleted the preferences file to try and do a full reset.
It never ends up being consistently any particular plugins. Always different.
Anyone gone through this? Any ideas?
All help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Efrain

You should add a signature with your setup to narrow your question.

Sorry for the obvious question, but are you sure all your plugins are updated?

Hi,
Yes, I’ve made sure to update all plugins and also worked with each vendors support. But the crashes are on random plugins and never the same ones over and over. It’s very strange.
Appreciate your reply!

What you could try is downloading the free KVR plug-in manager:
https://www.kvraudio.com/news/kvr-studi ... 713/0/8694
This will show all your plugins/versions but also show any error messages coming from misbehaving ones

That’s a great idea. But my biggest concern is the crashes are never the same plugins over and over. It’s different ones every time.
I’ve gone as far as deleting the database, preference and config files and even after that full reset there’s another set of plugins crashing the scan.
I’ve been pushing support for a full clean uninstall and reinstall of Ableton. Hopefully this next reply will allow me that. I am going to try one more thing while I’m waiting to rule out all the plugins being the issue. I’ve been wanting to try Studio One for mixing and mastering duties and will be installing that possibly over the weekend to see what happens when it scans all my plugins.
Appreciate your suggestion and will likely pick that up to help with plugin maintenance.
