20x longer latency than Ableton is reporting

hi everyone ! im having an issue with latency in Live. it's ridiculously longer than it should be, as my buffer size is set to 32 and the overall roundtrip latency reported in settings is 2.25ms. when i go to acutally record, the audible delay is 45ms. i have tried using other versions of live (11 and 10) to no success. i have uninstalled all audio-re-routing applications, restarted my computer, tried an entirely blank set, etc. and nothing will fix it.

this issue isn't occuring in Logic, or any other software with monitoring capabilities. is there something i am missing?

Check Driver Error Compensation in Preferences (should be at its 0.00 default value in most cases), another possibility is you may be using bluetooth audio with only Live for some reason.
