midi mapping with Akai MPKMini sustain-connection

Dear Musicians!
I'd like to midimap the "tap-function" in Ableton Live with my Akai MPKMini sustain-connection.
It perfectly works with my Akai MPK249 Sustain Connection with a M-Audio SP-2.
For reasons I don't know it does'nt work the same way with the Akai MPKMini, although in general this device works properly.
Does anyone know how to midimap the sustain-connection via Akai MPKMini to tap, overdub or whatever?
