I have an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Thunderbolt motherboard with 14th Gen Intel i9 24-core CPU and 96GB RAM. Live 12 Suite is having audio dropouts when the CPU meter is only ~72%. My old Dell didn't have dropouts until it spiked over 100%. Are there some settings in the BIOS I have to change to get it to use all of the CPU? I paid a lot of money for this PC and it is not performing anywhere near what it should be capable of.

Which audio interface and buffer size? Which Windows power profile?

There are some Windows power settings that are hidden, which make too agressive power saving things which mean bad performance in DAW use. I'm also on 13th gen i9.
