Edit: I had a misunderstanding, these effects have been legacy effects and out of the Audio Effects label for a while now...

If these devices are in the User Library (or a custom folder located under Places), it indicates that the library contains presets that utilize these devices. That's why the devices appear in the list. If you remove the presets, the devices will disappear.

Redux appears in the list because it is still in the current core library. Like Auto Filter, it got an overhaul but kept its original name.

I noticed that the audio effects Chorus, Flanger and Phaser have been moved to the legacy folder in the12.2 update... The combination effects Chorus-Ensemble and Phaser-Flanger are still in the usual place. Why is this? I personally didn't have a problem with the individual effect versions, although they did have some room for improvement. But still, I'd like to use them for now, so why have they been moved away from the Audio Effects label?

They can still be found in Packs > Core Library > Devices > Audio Effects > Legacy, but that takes quite a few clicks to get to...

Those became legacy when the new combined versions were introduced many moons ago (so not just since 12.2).
You can tag them or add them to a collection for easy access.

I checked on another PC that still has Live 12.1, and all the legacy effects show up in the Audio Effects label/tab, even though they are located in the Legacy folder. So Ableton seemingly has taken them out of the Audio Effects label in the Live 12.2 update...

Oh wow, that's it! I enabled the Place column, and realized that the legacy effects show up on my main PC, because I have an old copy of the User Library from somwhere around Live 9 inside a custom folder under Places... I didn't realize it worked like this and was confused. I thought something had changed as my laptop doesn't have the old Core Library anywhere, and I happened to notice that the legacy effects don't show up on the laptop right after updating to 12.2...
Thanks for your reply, I wouldn't have realized this on my own!
