I find the Expressive Chord device very useful for my workflow. I think you really nailed it!
On the other hand I'd like more documentation about:

Layout. I use a Novation Launchpad in User Mode 1. I cannot get how the progression(s) are laid out.
Guide on writing one's own progressions.
Overall documentation.

can you help?
I think it's a great tool and I want to learn how it works in full!

Thanks
Pasha

Note C1 plays the first chord, C#1 the second, and so on to note B4 in the top right.
The chords themselves are randomly placed.
You can write your own chords in a MIDI clip and arrange them in the order you prefer.
To do this, create a MIDI clip on the track the Expressive Chords device is on. Create chords at every bar in this MIDI clip, so one chord at 1.1, the second at 1.2 and so on.
Then, expand the Expressive Chords device using the button located in the top right. In the expanded panel, you'll find an "Import" button, which allows you to import the clip.
Note that when you import a clip, all existing chords will be cleared first.
If you use one MIDI clip to fill the device and save (copies of) it after every change, you can always import it again.

Some documentation is included in the Lesson file of the Expressive Chords pack (Right-click on the pack and select 'Show Default Lesson'). Although it's not extensive, it provides some additional information to help you move forward.

Finally, there is YouTube, which has several videos about this device.
