Greetings everyone!

I hope you can take a second to check out my new website and let me know what you think:

http://www.atgig.com/Tarekith/

I have posted all of my lastest songs for FREE download as high quality 320kbps mp3's. They even come pre-warped for those of you using Ableton Live 5. I also just posted a brand new song I finished up earlier today called 'Huck & Drop', which you can find here:

http://www.atgig.com/Tarekith/mp3s/HuckDrop.zip

The drums are all from my slowly growing sample library, arranged in Cubase SX 3.02. The bassline and 303 line are from the real deal, a TB-303 (synced in Live 5). The distorted 303 part was done by running the original 303 part through a couple of Live 5's Saturator plug ins. The rest of the synth parts are all from the Virus.

Mixed in Cubase SX with UAD-1 plug ins, and mastered in Wavelab using the UAD Pultec and Precision Limiter.

Enjoy the music, and let me know if you find any errors on the site!

Peace and beats,

sweet!

hey, really want to check out some of your tracks but dont you think it will be easier for everyone if you find a way to put audible samples up?

looks like full als files at about 10megs a pop .. that we need to download and install and open in Live if we even want to hear them ..

i know nobody wants to hear a complaint about thier format - and i think you're trying to save money on server hosting - but i think most people just want to audition what you have first, and easily ... suggestion:

does your host allow 128kbps samples? dither down your samples and host some of those as previews ..

You can find low quality samples of the tracks here:

This is just the first launch of the site, next step is to add realtime streaming mp3 samples, a bunch of tutorials I'm almost done with, and such. Just takes time, and I haven't got much of that lately.

Added a link to the streaming samples on the site, thanks for the heads up. I'll take a look at coming up with a better solution shortly, but you can preview before you DL now.

You don't need Live to play back the files either, they're 320kbps MP3's so they'll play back in any MP3 player. The ASD files are just for those using Live to DJ with.

Anyway, enjoy!

hey man, just having a listen now. some of your links are broken...

know the path part 1 links to huck & drop

resiliant and salt flats both give some weird page from your server that results in loads of popups but no track :(

It's the web server, you can't Right Click and then save, you have to left click and save via the dialogue box.

Fixed the links, sorry about that, uploaded the wrong page a second ago. Resiliant and Salt Flats will be up in a couple minutes.

All fixed guys, thanks for helping me troubleshoot the site. All the MP3 links should work fine now, sorry for the hassle.

First of all, great tunes. Keep up the awesome work.

Second, great idea to include pre-warped .asd files. For easy download and mixing. I'm gonna steal the idea for my tunes going forward. Thanks.

Free Breaks, 4/4, House, Downtempo, DnB tunes, PRE-WARPED!
