Are you using Compressor on your Master Bus?

Hi

I would like to use the Ableton Compressor as a master bus compressor. The Glue doesn't have many options for knee or detector settings, so I am curious, what would be your go to settings for using it as a master bus compressor for Glueing and your reasoning?

Eg. 7ms Attack-Release | 1.29 Ratio | Peak | Lookahead 0ms | Knee 7 | Average Gain reduction | Sc Filter HPF 152 Hz

Or just paste a screenshot :)

Thanks for your input :)

were I to use any other compressor on my master bus, I'd probably end up setting similar to the Glue Compressor anyway...typical glue settings... 30 ms attack, medium-ish release, 2-1 ratio, sidechaining out everything under 150 hz or so, and the needle only moving 1.5-2 db. used those settings back when I used to use the MJUC compressor, and they just sound the best for that purpose to me. it's why I just use the Glue Comp now. 😄

Even though I enjoy the glue compressor a lot, Particularly the Soft Clip..

One day I did some tests matching up Glue vs Compressor, pushed both it to upper limits, which resulted in the glue sounding really messy in comparison to Compressor.

I know the glue is meant to be a quick fix, however Compressor with a Saturator gives me way more flexibility..
