Structured Device Chain with Dedicated Sections

Hello,
I've been a professional Ableton Live user for about a decade now, following every version closely. I'd like to suggest a feature that could dramatically improve workflow and user interface clarity in Live.
Currently, plugin chains in Live can become visually overwhelming: all devices line up left-to-right in one long row. My proposal is to introduce dedicated sections in the device chain — starting with a fixed right-side “post-processing zone” that does not move as devices are added or removed on the left.
This right section of the device chain zone; would remain visible at all times, acting as a dedicated space where users can pin their preferred “end-of-chain” devices. These devices could still be folded/unfolded as usual, but the section itself would always stay at the far right, making it a consistent reference point.
This would allow for a much clearer and more structured workflow. For example, users could pin:
-A corrective EQ like Pro-Q 4 to display and control all EQ instances across all tracks from a single window.
-A true stereo panner like Panpot.
-A simple limiter as a safety net.
-An channel strip for consistent tone coloration.
etc..
Many users like to maintain a default processing methodology. Having a dedicated, fixed section for this purpose would bring enormous UI comfort and make complex sessions far more readable.
We could even take this further and split the device chain into three fixed zones:
- Pre-Process (gain staging, corrective EQ..),
- Process (creative effects),
- Post-Process (final EQ, limiter, metering..).
Such a system would make device chains much easier to navigate, ensure consistency between tracks, and significantly reduce cognitive load during mixing.
