Push 3, Live 12 - notes getting stuck, hourglass, lagging?

Ableton Live 12 Suite (12.2.5) - on both laptop and Push 3
Firmware: 1.4.10
CoreAudio, Scarlett 8i6
Apple M2 Max, 96GB RAM
Hey, everyone! I'm having an issue... I connected my Push 3 to my computer in control mode, put Wavetable on a MIDI track, and just tried to have some fun. It started getting stuck on notes. For example, I would play a scale and a random note would stick and sustain. Sometimes I would be able to unstick it by playing that note. Sometimes the pad would remain highlighted, other times not.
I did a reset on the Push and the issue persisted.
I realized hadn't used my Push in a while, so I updated the firmware, first from 1.1.2 to 1.2.22, and then from 1.2.22 to 1.4.10 - then, I realized it was still on Ableton 11, so I updated it to the Ableton 12 suite to match my laptop.
Again, the issue persisted, so I did a reset again and the issue persisted.
When it's connected to my computer's Live session, I am getting an hourglass on my cursor every few seconds, and especially when a note is stuck and sustaining. CPU usage registers only at 2-5%. When I am modulating a parameter on the Push, like Wave position, filter, whatever, the graphic gets stuck.
Any idea what's going on? Thanks!
