Scene launch inconsistencies

It seems there are inconsistencies in the scene launch command (at least this is the case when using the enter key).
If I click anywhere outside of the main column, then get back to the first scene and launch it, it won't select the next scene as stated in the preferences. Subsequent launches will work properly, until I click anywhere else. This is the case only for the first scene and the first launch.

Edit :
it seems the last sentence is wrong. If I have to go check something outside of Live (as is often the case in rehearsal) then go back to Live, select any scene then hit Enter, it will launch but won't select the following scene.

Edit the edit :
In fact it's really hard to get exactly when this will not work. It seems that if you use a control in the mixer or a device it won't happen but if you select a clip it will...

I did try this, but I'm on Windows. I couldn't reproduce the bug.

Are you certain that you don't have a condition in your follow action, like having it advance only 80% of the time?

I couldn't reproduce the bug in Windows on version 12.2.5.

It only happens if I click outside of ableton and then continue to hit enter. But, once Ableton is selected, and the title bar is dark, the function works.
