make 0 mute a track when cursor is in arrangement timeline

i'd really like to be able to mute the tracks with my keyboard even when my cursor is on the timeline, without moving the focus to
the tracks on the right. Just, when nothing is highlighted (no clip is selected in arrangement view) and i press 0, i expect whole track to be muted.
also, If you could make muted tracks, gray or something so they are easier to spot, that would be great.
