Something for the Guitar/Bass players..

The Softube Amp/Cab sims in Ableton is looong overdue for a replacement/overhaul, it sounds quite hideous even compared to free options. Why not have an implementation of the open source Neural Amp Modeller? That would allow you to have models of your own amps/speakers inside Ableton (and ableton could sell amp packs..). If not, maybe license a basic version of Tonex or similar (or make your own!).

And while I am at it.. for the next version of push, proper combi jacks with phantom power and guitar impedance optimised inst inputs?

Would love to be able to use my Push Stand Alone as a Stand Alone writing studio and be able to plug an electric guitar/bass straight in to it and get great tones.

+1000. Amp is good for everything but realistic guitar sounds. Cab is easily replaced with cabs IR loaded into Hybrid Reverb, though.
That's also something I'm missing a ton on Push Standalone.

This exists now: https://youtube.com/shorts/mWUv7tMWVPQ

I'll be releasing it on April 28th!

It's built in the modular Ableton way (separate devices for amp models and cab IRs), leveraging racks for blending cabs, noise gating, etc.

It's also quite a bit more efficient than the official VST thanks to the NeuralAudio library.

I have a ton of other options by now, but yeah, please...some solid amp/cab modeling in the Ableton ecosystem would be fantastic. I think this is probably the same Softube stuff they put into Reason (or very similar) a bunch of years ago. I was really surprised at how shoddy these models sound coming from Softube. love their other stuff, but these are trash, no matter what seedtostage tries to suggest. 😅
