How to preview presets in Ableton synths?

Hi, I've been using Live for many years but I've never figured this out: let's say you have a midi clip which uses Wavetable. How can you change the presets to see how they fit in that sequence without having to go to the browser and load another one? Or, when playing Push, how do you preview the presets instantly without having to go to menus, etc. In many soft synths, I can do that by pressing the arrows in my keyboard. In hardware synths, sometimes you press a button, or turn a wheel, but you don't have to wait for the preset to load everytime. I hope there's a way don't know about, because I find quite annoying having to drop the preset from the browser every time when navigating dozens of sounds.

You're not missing anything. The way Live is dealing with this is with the hot-swap method.
Yes, it's slower than with e.g VSTs, but the advantage is that any instrument can be swapped to any other instrument. You can even hotswap e.g a synth to a drum rack (which I reckon is rarely useful!).

Thanks for your answer [jur]. My hopes weren’t very high, but I thought perhaps I was missing something. It’s a small thing, but it always makes me choose other synths over the stock ones (which I like very much). I was jamming the other day with Wavetable with the expanded interface and this “issue” make the experience quite cumbersome.

I think there is a feature suggestion about this (or similar) on (Live 12) centercode
