Very weird recording problem with Live 12

Hi,
I've been dealing with a strange and annoying issue in Live 12 that affects my ability to record (particularly sound effects). Recently I've been noticing that Ableton not only appears to have some kind of noise gate on Input 1 (so only vocals come through), but both inputs are not recording sound above roughly 10kHz. I have an old iCONNECTAUDIO2+ interface I've been using for years, so when I started noticing this problem, I figured it was something with the interface being old or something. I've since bought a new (well, refurbished) Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen, and it worked fine right after I set it up - but suddenly a few days later the exact same issue is happening now with this new interface. I've just tested these inputs in Reaper and none of this is an issue, so this almost certainly has to be something within Ableton. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening... any takers?
