So I ran CleanMyMac

Then i noticed Ableton Live suite 12 has been deleted

I download Ableton live suite 12.3.2 - then go to reinstall
Now CleanMyMac is telling me it has detected malware in the official download from ableton website

Shall i ignore and continue to install ableton as normal?

Or shall i click remove threats?

…i have the feeling clean my mac itself is malware…i had it years ago on an intel mbp and it only resulted in chaos within my system prefs and so on…why do you think you need it?…

I don't know what the general consensus is but a lot of people consider CleanMyMac unnecessary to say the least... if you really want to delete caches and stuff there's a free tool you can use called Onyx: https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html

A very long time ago I had clean your Mac as well. And it is MALWARE. It just made only problems and is very difficult to delete completely. I just did a clean reinstall at the end to be sure it is completely deleted. Since then I had 5 Macs with no such a program. There are freeware apps do clean caches and so on. But not CleanYourMAC. It feels like installing something from Scientology or other sects (Sekten) My 5 cents
