Bit depth of VST instruments

Hi all,
I have some questions about bit depth in Ableton.
1. I have read on google AI and forums that the internal processing in Ableton is done as 32 bit float? Is this correct?
2. If so, if I load a VST instrument that has samples in 44.1kHz 24 bit, are these samples being converted to 32 bit by Ableton?
3. If I record MIDI, and using the VST instrument, and I am not adding any sound effects like reverb, is the sound I am getting from Ableton still going to be 32 bit float?
4. If I am exporting as 24 bit, is then dither recommended as the sound is turned into 32 bit float in all instances, even if I don't add sound effects like reverb?
Thanks!
