Ableton 11 Suite Plugin Search greyed out- Not active??

So i have recently installed live 11 next to my 12 version in order to be able to open oder things with rosetta.
That said, i realise that the Plugin manual search command in the settings is greyed out, so i cannot let Live do a Search for newly installed plugins.
Does anybody here have an idea why that could be?
