Hi There,

I want to control the Coarse (Pitch) Parameter in my Drum-Plugin (Triaz) via Knob on Novation NanoControl. I‘ve mapped the Knob and it works but the Coarse is changing unscaled. In the Plugin goes the Parameter from from -12 to + 12 Semitones and I want to change full Semitones. I‘ve tried the Max for Live MIDI Effects Expression Control, CC Control, Pitch and Scale but without Success. Also I want to controll each Coarse Parameter in the Plugin (8 Knobs to 8 Tracks but the Tracks are in the Plugin and the Plugin is in only one Track in Ableton). So I need a separate MIDI Effect for each Knob!? Which Effect Plugin can I use? Thanks in Advance for Help and maybe Solutions!

What do you mean by "Coarse is changing unscaled"? Can you explain what exactly is happening and what you expect?

What do you mean by full semitones? If you mean -50 to 50, I don't see how that is possible, since the plugin's range is -12 to 12.

When mapping a control, check the MIDI mapping panel on the right to verify that the Min and Max values are as expected.
Another thing to check is the values the Nano Control sends when you turn a knob. You can use Live's MIDI Monitor for that.

What I wan't is that the Pitch is only changing in full Semitones. So ...-2, -1. 0, +1, +2...I've reduced the Range sucessfull from -8 to +8 (before -24 to +24) but the Pitch is changing ...1.00, 1.12, 1.25, 1.37... I want that it changes ...1, 2, 3, 4...
The Value Range from the Knob is 0-127. I search a Tool that only sends fixed Values. e.G. 71 for +1, 79 for +2 and the Steps between the full Semitones are ignored. The Drum Plugin has 8 Tracks with 8 Pitch Parameters (mapped to 8 Knobs) and I want to set the Tool only one Time for all 8 Parameters which I can place before the Drum Plugin. Can you advise a fitting Tool? Thanks very much in Advance for your Reply!

The last part is simple. Place Triaz in a rack and map all eight parameters to the same macro.

The issue with whole numbers can be resolved with a Max device. I've built a device for you to test and verify that it does what you want. I'll send you the device and instructions in a PM in a moment.
