Recording Guitar or Bass into Move Suggestions

What are people using, or going to use, to plug their guitars or basses into the move?

With audio clips incoming, I’d love to use my guitar or bass straight in but I imagine the sound is not ideal and the input gain levels aren’t great without hz and cables going from 1/4 mono to 3.5mm stereo.

So, what are some good options that don’t break the bank or that I could possibly do with no new purchases? I do have a bunch of pedals but unfortunately no amp sims, though my big sky has a cab sim which works well with recording.

I was thinking the valeton gp-5 or a Joyo amp sim could be a cheap option but don’t have one.

Ideas?

Yeah anything like that. Or one of those headphone-friendly amp sims "dongle" that you plug directly on the guitar's jack output, they probably use a mini-jack for their headphone out so you won't even need jack adapters.

I've had good results using the headphone out of the Valeton GP-50, which is lucky as it's the reason I bought it. The headphone out is stereo mini jack, so a simple aux cable will do the job. Plus, the unit is powered by an internal rechargeable battery - super portable.

Also had good - better - results using Yamaha THR-10, which is portable it you use batteries, but does require you to use Move headphones to hear the guitar, as you're be using the headphone out on the Yamaha. And it's not super portable.
