Possible to overdub audio?

My friend recently lent me his OP-1, and I'm sure there are a lot of mixed feelings about these units, but I find myself enjoying the limitations of the recorder, and I am wondering if there is some way to overdub audio in ableton.
I just want to set up 4 minimal tracks, record over them without having to bother with adding more tracks or busses or groups. Just a quick workflow for getting ideas down.
Seems like ableton should be able to just "play all take lanes", but I don't even need to keep my old takes, just want something that doesn't let me 'undo' if that makes sense.
Thoughts, prayers, etc are welcome. I have to give this unit back this weekend
