play second track synced?

i dont know how to put it in words but here it goes
in live 4 when i was playing one song and mixing in another one i could press play on the 2nd track and the track could play from the beginning on time again
in live 5 this is a bit off. any way to revert back to the old method?

not entirely sure what your on about....

the whole point of live is to sync tracks, and this shouldnt have changed from 4 to 5

did you use the same tracks in both versions, or are you using a different set of tracks (possibly after autowarping them?)

also have you got your quantize set to the same amount?

sometimes in live 4 i wanted to play the intro from the 2nd track for a longer time till the 1st track has a breakdown. what i was doing is pressing play in the 2nd track so i wouldnt need to create a looped section and it was working like a charm.
now in live 5 pressing play even to just play a second track (lets say i have a loop and i want to play the normal track which i have below it) it might not be in sync and i have to press play again a few times to get it entirely in sync.

ps: where do i check quintize? i believe i didnt change any options in that.

second clip is not in sync

solved it...just uninstalled live 4 and 5 deleted all my user settings then did a clean live 5 install..
