Backing tracks playback, why everyone goes Arrangement View?

So I do backing tracks playback with my band. Have been doing that for a couple of years now, first Live 10 and now Live 11, testing Live 12.
I've always used session view for my whole shows, and my songs are split into sections. Ofc there's some drawbacks of that, for example necessity to put a midi track with automatic stop after each song (with a midi workaround on Mac). So lately I started to search for new techniques on you tube because of that, and I was so surprised, all major playback techs use exclusively arrangement view... Where's common sense here, since Live session view was made especially for live playback, backing tracks sequencing, looping and so on? You can use any other daw then with same kind of view, so why?
I literally cant find any pro playback technician on yt using session view.
