Spat Multichannel

Hi,

I try to explore Spat Multichannel, but I run into a problem right at the start:

My Dolby Atmos setup doesn't use contiguous outputs.

I have :
1-2 L-R
3-4 C-LFE

then

15-16 Ls-Rs
17-18 Lrs-Rrs
19-20 Ltf-Rtf
21-22 Ltr-Rtr

This is what I don't get in the SPAT plugin, I can't change the outputs, like in the surround panner plugin, for example.

any ideas ?

Thanks

Yeah that can be an issue.
You have two options probably:
- edit the M4L device so it matches your setup
- modify your speakers setup on your sound card so it works with Spat as it is configured.

Maybe that might also be made possible by an update of the Spat pack ? Just dreaming.

I just checked in the manual and I think you can change the outputs for your custom layout in the speaker editor. They work as pairs so you should be ok. It reminds me I think I had to do it once. Open the routing from the wrench icon and change your routings to the Rme. An alternative would be to use Totalmix to reroute the daw signals to your hw outputs.
