Disclosure up front: I'm the developer, posting this to share what I worked on.

I love Ableton, and have been doing composition and sound design work for a while now and I kept hitting a wall when doing handovers to and from other NLEs and DAWs. So I built a tool that imports and exports AAF and XML to and from Ableton Live Sets.

Sample-accurate clip positions and source offsets. Fades, crossfades, clip gain, volume automation, pan, and markers transfer over. MXF-wrapped audio gets converted to WAV automatically, and there's a collect-media option to bundle everything into one portable folder. It also handles XML, FCPXML, and FCPXMLD. Each conversion generates a report showing what did and didn't transfer. What I'm quite proud of is a crossfade compensation option for acoustically correct crossfades with NLEs/DAWs that map crossfades symmetrically at the joint.
