Since yesterday i have big probs with Live and my Asio-configuration. a friend of mine gave me the Beta of Live 2.0 and i installed it at my computer. Now all samples sounds like they were metallized from efx but there is no efx activated. When i tried the my old 1.5 version, i have now the same problem there. If i changed my driver to direct-X, all is o.K.
Then i deinstalled my audio-driver and installed it new, but the problem was still there. Then i deinstalled both versions of Live and reinstalled the 1.5 version, but the problem is still there. I ried many configurations like latencies up to 46 ms and also 16 and 24 bit. it sounds like the samplerate is not synced with my soundcard. Cubase is still good working. i used Live as standalone. My computer is a Gericom Masterpiece 2,53 Ghz 512 mb , my soundcard is a RME Multiface. Before i had this problem all was good working for mounths. Please help, because i need the seperate- outs of my soundcard, to record my work.

Hi,

a friend of mine also has this problem.
It has something to with he digital inputs.

If you don't need your adat inputs disable them in the options menu.

Every input you turn off will change the "metalization" into a slightly different sound - and when you turn them all off you will hear the "real" signal.
This is a sync problem of the hammerfall.
I got one myself but I don't have these problems,I think the error has something to do with your laptop.
